This statement serves as a contractual agreement between you and AACPMAS. You must agree to these terms in order to submit your application.
Professional Code of Conduct
AACPMAS applicants are expected and required to abide by a Professional Code of Conduct in order to be considered for entry into the podiatric medicine profession. You are required to agree to this code in order to submit your AACPMAS application. Violating this code may subject you to sanctions by the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine (AACPM), up to and including being barred from entering the podiatric medicine profession in the United States.
Selecting Yes for this release allows AACPMAS to release certain information to pre-health advisors at schools you previously attended. This information includes some application information including your GPA, the names of the podiatric medicine programs to which you applied, and which program, if any, you matriculate into. They will not see documentation such as transcripts or letters of reference.
If you select No, AACPMAS will not release your information to advisors. We encourage you to authorize this release, as it is useful to advisors assisting you and other future applicants; however, it will not affect the consideration given to your application.
