The AAPI Online Director of Clinical Training/Trainer Director (DCT/TD) Portal divided into three sections:
- DCT Verification section
- DCT Submission Form
- Preview/Submit section
You must complete all sections before the applicant can submit their application to AAPI Online.
The My Profile page appears when you log in for the first time. Verify that the information is correct, make any necessary changes, and click Save to move to the next step. You will not be able to submit your recommendations unless this page is saved.
DCT Verification Form
In this section, you must verify the information provided by your student. Carefully review each section to ensure accuracy. Then, select either I verify that the above information is correct including the Terminal Masters Hours, I verify the above information, but cannot verify the Terminal Masters Hours, if any, or Return to Applicant.
If you choose to return the form to the applicant, you must enter a reason in the text box below. The applicant will then receive an email notifying them to review your reasons for not verifying their information. Once the applicant re-submits the information with the necessary corrections, you will receive an email notification. It is your responsibility to review the changes and again, either select I verify that the above information is correct including the Terminal Masters Hours, I verify the above information, but cannot verify the Terminal Masters Hours, if any, or Return to Applicant.
Please note that the applicant cannot submit their materials to any internship sites until their verification is complete.
DCT Submission Form
All required fields in the DCT Submission form must be completed and saved. If you omit any required fields, a Missing message will be highlighted in red. Once all fields are completed and the DCT Verification Form is verified, you can submit the forms.
Note: Successful saving this section will not prompt a completion message.
In this section, you will be notified of any incomplete items. Once all required fields are complete, you will see a message that states, When you are satisfied with your answers, please click “submit” to finalize this student’s review. You can now submit the student’s review. Once submitted, the student will receive an email stating that his/her DCT/TD has verified the required information. Once the student receives this verification, he or she will be able to submit his/her AAPI Online application.
