Branding and Text
All applicants see the information listed under Branding & Text. You can edit several areas of the application from here, including the application login page, re-applicant screen, and footer content and links.
Sign In
You can edit the application login page here. To edit this section,
- Click the edit icon.
- Enter the welcome text. Use the formatting options to customize your text.
- Click Save.
Suggested welcome text includes:
- CAS definition and available/accredited programs (e.g., OptomCAS, the Centralized Application Service for optometry programs).
- Application availability (e.g., the AACOMAS cycle will open on May 15, 2018).
- Cycle open and close dates (e.g., the CASPA cycle opens on April 1, 2018 and closes on March 1, 2019).
- Any restrictions, such as soft launches (e.g., the ADEA AADSAS application is now available. Note that you can't submit your application until May 1, 2018).
- Association name and URL (e.g., PTCAS is a service of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)).
- Other applicable URLs (e.g., visit https://sophas.org for more information about participating programs).
Re-Applicant
You can edit the re-applicant text here. To edit this section,
- Click the edit icon.
- Enter the re-applicant text. Use the formatting options to customize your text.
- Click Save.
You can also change the re-applicant link text on the application login page. To edit this link,
- Click the edit icon.
- Enter the re-applicant link text (e.g., Click here to re-apply to VMCAS.).
- Click Save.
Footer Content
The footer content appears on any page in the application. To edit the copyright text,
- Click the edit icon.
- Enter the welcome text.
- Click Save.
You can also add custom and social media links. To add a custom link,
- Click Add Link.
- Enter the display text.
- Enter the URL. If you add an email address, be sure to enter mailto: before the email address.
- Click Save.
To add a social media link,
- Click Add Social Media Account.
- Select the social media account (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
- Enter the URL.
- Click Save.
The social media link appears as the social media image in the footer.
