New Features and Enhancements
Applicant Portal Enhancements
The following enhancement is available for the Applicant Portal as part of Sprint 2.
1. New Password Strength Requirement
Note that this enhancement is effective immediately for new accounts and password changes.
To meet current industry standards on password strength, applicant passwords are now required to be a minimum of 8 characters, including a number, capital letter, and a special character. This requirement is enacted when an applicant creates an account or changes their password.
Evaluator Portal Enhancements
The following enhancement is available for the Evaluator Portal as part of Sprint 2.
1. Letters by Liaison
Note that this new Evaluator portal is available immediately for all CASs.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new, streamlined Evaluator Portal, called Letters by Liaison. Developed based on user feedback, the new site offers a redesigned user experience, simpler workflows, a 508- compliant interface, and more customization options. It’s easier to create accounts, review requests, and upload documents. Temporarily, users will have the option to use Letters by Liaison or to continue using the current Evaluator Portal. The current Evaluator Portal will remain open for at least 30 days after this release.
WebAdMIT Enhancements
The following enhancement is available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 2.
1. Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment Test Scores Now Available
Note that this enhancement is available as an option to all CASs starting with the next cycle launch. Please see your Account Manager for more information.
Liaison now accepts official Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment Test scores, which measure elementary and high school knowledge. Updates to College Coursework Credit Value Entries |
Winter |
For CASs that collect college coursework, the Applicant Portal will be updated to allow applicants to enter course credit values in one numeric field. This field will also limit applicants from entering more than two digits after a decimal. Currently, applicants are required to enter course credit values in two fields: a numeric field for the whole course credit and a drop-down including preset fractional values. |
Sandbox Environment Refresh |
February 20, 2018 |
The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) will be refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox will be overwritten when the refresh occurs. |
