New Features and Enhancements

Configuration Portal Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for the Configuration Portal as part of Sprint 5.

1. Reorder Questions and Question Blocks 

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs.  

Users can now reorder questions entered in the Program Editor section by dragging and dropping. Questions can be reordered within and across question blocks, and question blocks can be reordered as well. 

2. Updated Configuration Portal Interface 

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs.  

We are excited to announce that the Configuration Portal has an updated design. This new design includes an easier navigation and increased adherence to 508 Compliance standards.

Event Date Details

Updates to College Coursework Credit Value Entries

Winter

For CASs that collect college coursework, the Applicant Portal will be updated to allow applicants to enter course credit values in one numeric field. This field will also limit applicants from entering more than two digits after a decimal.

Currently, applicants are required to enter course credit values in two fields: a numeric field for the whole course credit and a drop-down including preset fractional values.

Sandbox Environment Refresh

April 2, 2018

The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) will be refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox will be overwritten when the refresh occurs.

Participants will learn how to make best use of the Assignments and Interviews features in WebAdMIT through a series of hands-on exercises led by a WebAdMIT expert. They will learn how to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates, while networking with peers to learn how others are using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to earn 0.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
