About These Release Notes

This document provides a summary of the new features and enhancements available in the Sprint 7 release. If you have any questions about these features, please contact your Account Manager.

New Features and Enhancements

Applicant Portal Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 7.

1. Early Application Access

This enhancement is available immediately for ADEA AADSAS, and beginning with the next cycle launch for all CASs on the 3.X platform.

This option allows applicants to complete their applications before the CAS begins accepting applications. This provides applicants with additional lead time for completing their work. Prior to the launch date, early applicants are unable to submit, and will see a notification informing them of the CAS's open date. Once the CAS begins accepting applications, applicants can submit their completed applications.

2. Flexibility in Sex/Gender Section

This enhancement is being made available as an option to all CASs operating on the 3.X platform, beginning with your next cycle launch.

Traditionally, the Sex/Gender heading and question on the application has been presented as "Sex" or "Gender". To make this more inclusive, each CAS now has a configurable option regarding how the question and heading are labeled. The available answers (Male, Female, Decline to State) remain unchanged.

Updates to College Coursework Credit Value Entries

Spring

For CASs that collect college coursework, the Applicant Portal will be updated to allow applicants to enter course credit values in one numeric field. This field will also limit applicants from entering more than two digits after a decimal.

Currently, applicants are required to enter course credit values in two fields: a numeric field for the whole course credit and a drop-down including preset fractional values.
