New Features and Enhancements

Applicant Portal Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 18.

1. Add Program and Search Feature Updates

Please contact your Account Manager who can provide you with more information on this enhancement.

We are excited to announce a streamlined look and feel for the Add Program page in the Applicant Portal. This enhancement also includes an updated search feature.

The improved Add Program interface is easier to navigate and offers increased adherence to 508 Compliance standards. Applicants can select programs from the holistic list under the Add Program sub-tab, and then toggle to the Selected Programs sub-tab to review their program selections.

Along with the updated design, applicants can now search by typing a program or school name in the search field. Applicants can also apply search filters, which are predetermined by the CAS. The search filter functions include:

Multi-selecting available, past, and future programs.
Typing a filter option in a search field.
Multi-selecting filter options.

WebAdMIT Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 18.

1. CAS- and Program-level Questions Mirror Application Order

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs.

The order of CAS- and program-level questions on the Applicant Details page, List Manager, and Export Manager now matches the order in which the questions appear in the application. This enhancement only affects questions; question blocks are still sorted alphabetically.

2. SlideRoom Integration

Note that this enhancement is a configurable, optional feature available to all CASs for the next cycle launch. Please see your Account Manager for more information.

For CASs that activate SlideRoom, WebAdMIT now includes a dedicated panel that includes a link to the applicant’s SlideRoom Portfolio, Status, and Completion Date. You must enter your SlideRoom credentials the first time you access any applicant’s portfolio from a link through WebAdMIT.

The Status and Completion Date fields are searchable via the List Manager and exportable via the Export Manager. An additional WebAdMIT Program ID field is available in the List Manager and Export Manager, so that you can pair the SlideRoom Status and Completion Date fields with the appropriate WebAdMIT designation.

Sandbox Environment Refresh	September 18, 2018	The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) was refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox were overwritten.
Reviewing & Scoring Applicants Regional Training in Los Angeles, CA	October 16, 2018	Register now for our Reviewing & Scoring Applicants live training in Los Angeles, CA. Participants will learn how to make the best use of the Assignments and Interviews features in WebAdMIT through a series of hands-on exercises led by a WebAdMIT expert. They will learn how to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates while networking with peers to learn how others are using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to earn 0.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). To learn more about this class and our other training resources, visit http://webadmit.liaisonedu.com.
