New Features and Enhancements
Applicant Portal Enhancements
The following enhancement is available for the Applicant Portal as part of Release 7.
Upload Transcript for Foreign Institutions
This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs that configure transcript requirements. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
If you require applicants to upload unofficial copies of their transcripts, the Upload Transcript button now appears for foreign institutions attended. Previously, the Upload Transcript button only appeared for US and English Canadian institutions.
Configuration Portal Enhancements
The following enhancement is available for the Configuration Portal as part of Release 7.
Hide Program-specific Questions in Full Application PDF
This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.
When you create a question in the Configuration Portal, you can choose to hide the question in the full application PDF in WebAdMIT. These questions will still display on the Applicant Details page in WebAdMIT and be available in the List Manager and Export Manager.
Universal Advisor Portal Enhancements
The following enhancement is available for the Universal Advisor Portal as part of Release 7.
State Drop-down Options
This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
When advisors request a Universal Advisor Portal account, they must identify their institution’s state. This State drop-down is now limited to US states, Puerto Rico, and Canadian provinces. Previously, it included states in foreign countries.
WebAdMIT Enhancements
The following enhancements are available for WebAdMIT as part of Release 7.
Program Code Field Added to PDF Manager
This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
You can now select the Program Code field when naming the following document types in the PDF Manager:
- Full Application PDF
- Program Level Applicant Uploaded Document
- Electronically Submitted Evaluation (the Program Code field only populates with data if evaluations are requested through the Program Materials section. If evaluations are requested under Supporting Information, the Program Code field will have no data.)
Lookup Table Updates
This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
Some CASs ask applicants to identify their geographic area for HRSA data. The lookup value for "Large Town(population 10,000 to 49,999 population)" had an extra parenthesis removed from the end. If you pull this data into an external SIS/ERP system, you must update your data integration.
Daily Assignment Notification Email Update
This enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact your Account Manager for more information.
Previously, when a reviewer was assigned an Assignment in WebAdMIT, they received an email the next day, listing all Assignments given to them, regardless if the reviewer already completed them. Now reviewers only receive the daily Assignment email if they have incomplete Assignments from the previous day.

The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) was refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox were overwritten. |

Reviewing & Scoring Applicants Virtual Training |
August 7 – 28, 2019 |
Register now for our Reviewing & Scoring Applicants virtual training course. Participants will learn how to make the best use of the Assignments and Interviews features in WebAdMIT through a series of hands-on exercises led by a WebAdMIT expert. They will learn how to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates while networking with peers to learn how others are using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to earn 0.7 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Visit Liaison Academy to learn more about this class. |

WebAdMIT Session Timeout |

If your WebAdMIT session is inactive for more than three hours, you will automatically be logged out. This aligns with industry standards and security best practices.
