CAS Application Enhancements

Liaison’s suite of portals work together to help you collect and manage applications. The CAS application, also referred to as the CAS Applicant Portal, is the system where applicants find and apply to your programs. You receive these applications in WebAdMIT or Liaison Outcomes, where you perform your review processes. The appearance of your program and your requirements are customized in the CAS Configuration Portal, where you establish the program-specific elements that your applicants will interact with. Additionally, your program may use one or more of the following tools and platforms:

API: a data integration tool.
CAS Analytics by Liaison and Othot: advanced analytics solutions and data reporting tools.
CAS Applicant Gateway: a platform for applicants who have already submitted their CAS application to complete and upload additional materials requested by their programs.
CAS Liaison Letters: a platform for evaluators to submit their letters of recommendation.
Enrollment Marketing and TargetX: customer relationship management (CRM) systems for student lifecycle management.
Living Profile: a platform where students can connect their academic pursuits with their career aspirations.
SlideRoom: a platform for collecting digital portfolios.
Time2Track: a platform for tracking, verifying, and managing experiences.

IELTS Official Test Score Integration

This enhancement must be approved by the CAS association or UniCAS client for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. CAS association and UniCAS clients: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.

Applicants can now submit their official IELTS test scores to a CAS. This allows applicants to more easily track if their official test scores were received by the CAS and for you to manage more components of an applicant’s application in WebAdMIT.

Applicant Portal

If an applicant selects that they completed an IELTS exam under the Standardized Tests section, a new TRF Number field appears for them to complete. To send their official IELTS scores to a CAS, applicants must use a predetermined IELTS code. They can view received test scores under the Check Status tab in the application.

CAS API

The official IELTS test scores are now imported. The GET Application API will include various properties for official IELTS test scores. Additionally, the trfNumber property will be added to the applicant-reported IELTS test scores.

WebAdMIT

You can view official IELTS test scores under the IELTS subpanel of the Standardized Tests panel on the Applicant Details page. They are also available in the List Manager, Export Manager, and Scoring.

ATDH Applicant-Reported and Official Test Score Integration

This enhancement must be approved by ADEA DHCAS for use in the next cycle. If activated, this enhancement will be available for all participating programs in the next cycle. CAS association client: contact your Account Manager for more information or to enable this feature.

Applicants can now self-report and submit their official ATDH test scores to ADEA DHCAS. This allows applicants to more easily track if their official test scores were received by the CAS and for you to manage more components of an applicant’s application in WebAdMIT.

Applicant Portal

Applicants can now self-report their ATDH test scores in the Standardized Tests section. They can also submit their official ATDH test scores using a predetermined ATDH code. They can view received test scores under the Check Status tab in the application.

CAS API

The official ATDH test scores are now imported. The GET Application API will include various properties for applicant-reported and official ATDH test scores.

Sandbox Environment Refresh	August 8, 2022	The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) was refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox were overwritten.
WebAdMIT Webinar Series	Various	Liaison Academy offers WebAdMIT training webinars. Each one-hour webinar focuses on a specific WebAdMIT feature and offers best practices, tips, and tricks for working with that feature. Shared Lookup Table Updates for Fall 2022	September 11, 2022	Many fields in the Applicant Portal contain predefined answer values that applicants can select; for example, the Country and County fields both have predefined answer values. These values are housed in shared "lookup tables" which are viewable in your CAS's/UniCAS's data dictionary (located under the Help panel in WebAdMIT). Lookup table change requests should be sent to your Account Manager, who will compile and review these requests prior to inclusion in the next lookup table update taking place this fall. The deadline to submit change requests was June 1, 2022. New lookup table values will appear in the Applicant Portal on September 11, 2022. Intro to WebAdMIT: Unlocking the Tools to Manage Your Applications	September 20 – 29, 2022	Register now for our Intro to WebAdMIT virtual training course. Participants who are new to WebAdMIT, or are looking for a basic refresher of the software, will learn the core functionality of WebAdMIT and how to use features together maximizing efficiency with the software. Connect, Engage, Enroll, Repeat: Using CAS & WebAdMIT as a Marketing Tool	October 11 – 20, 2022	Register now for our Connect, Engage, Enroll, Repeat: Using CAS & WebAdMIT as a Marketing Tool virtual training course. Participants will learn to use CAS and WebAdMIT as a recruitment and marketing communication tool. They'll learn about branding best practices as well as the features in the Configuration Portal and WebAdMIT to help with market research, identifying target audiences, and creating customized communication workflows. Reviewing & Scoring Applicants: Best Practices with Assignments, Interviews, and Scoring in WebAdMIT	November 8 – 17, 2022	Register now for our Reviewing & Scoring Applicants: Best Practices with Assignments, Interviews, and Scoring in WebAdMIT virtual training course. Participants will learn how to make the best use of the Assignments and Interviews features in WebAdMIT through a series of hands-on exercises led by a WebAdMIT expert. They will learn how to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates while networking with peers to learn how others are using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals.
