Internal-Only CAS Custom Questions
Internal-Only CAS Custom Question
If a CAS has a custom question or a custom section text box in the first three quadrants (i.e., Personal Information, Academic History, and Supporting Information) or Extended Profile section, then the question can be configured to be internal only, meaning that that question and answers will not be sent to other portals such as the CAS API and WebAdMIT. This enhancement allows CASs to continue to collect data while restricting who can view it.
Since data from these questions do not flow into WebAdMIT, a Support ticket is required to provide this data to clients. This data cannot be obtained for Outcomes-only CASs.
Applicant View
Internal-only CAS custom questions will display to applicant as any other question. Applicants are able to view their responses in the full application PDF they download from the Applicant Portal.
Post Submission Updates
This is a case-by case basis and not dependent on this being enabled.
Validations
Validations are specific to each CAS.
Admissions View in WebAdMIT
Internal-only CAS custom questions are not accessible in WebAdMIT or the full application PDFs which can be downloaded from the Applicant Details page.
