Use an Existing Account to Re-Apply

If you previously created a Living Profile account or BusinessCAS account, you have two options to start your BusinessCAS application:

• Prefill your current BusinessCAS application from a previous BusinessCAS account.
• Prefill your current BusinessCAS application using data from Living Profile.

If you have existing accounts in both Living Profile and BusinessCAS (such as a previous application), then we recommend you use your BusinessCAS account to prefill your current BusinessCAS application. You must use the same email address to prefill your application. To avoid processing delays and difficulties, do not create a new account. Duplicate accounts and any documents associated with those accounts are deleted.

The data from your previous application cycle is wiped clean and you proceed with a blank application.

You can use an existing BusinessCAS account from a previous cycle to re-apply in the current cycle. You also keep the same CAS ID number from the previous cycle.

Much of your existing BusinessCAS application information, such as personal information, colleges attended, coursework, test scores, attached transcripts, etc. can be copied into the new application. Recommendations, essays, payments, and program-specific information cannot be copied into the new application.

When reapplying, note that you can:

• Copy your application from the previous cycle to the next (for example, from the 2024–2025 cycle into the 2025–2026 cycle).
• Skip a cycle and copy your application (for example, from the 2023–2024 cycle into the 2025–2026 cycle).
• Skip several cycles between applications. However, application data is unavailable after three cycles of inactivity (for example, if you last applied in the 2021–2022 cycle, you cannot copy your application into the 2025–2026 cycle). This includes any transcripts or WES evaluations, where applicable.

Note that your programs may be able to see that you are a re-applicant.

1. Log in to the application. A welcome screen appears. Click Continue under Use Data from a Previous Application to confirm that you want to begin the reapplication process.
2. Review the reapplication workflow, then click Start Reapplication.
3. Ensure your profile information, including your contact information, is correct.
4. Decide if you want to copy application data. Your selection cannot be changed.
5. Select the information you want to carry over. Unselected items will not carry over and cannot be recovered, so ensure your selections are complete before clicking Save and Continue.
6. A notification alerts you that every section of the application for which you choose to copy application data will require your review. You will need to review each application section to confirm the data is accurate. Click Continue.
7. A second notification provides instructions for accessing a PDF copy of your previous application. This PDF is only available if you submitted an application last cycle. Download the PDF before clicking Continue.
8. Your selected data will begin copying to your new application. This can take up to 24 hours to complete and you will receive an email once the application is ready.

To successfully copy official test scores, the name and date of birth on your new application must match the name and date of birth on your original application. Note that it can take several days for the matching process to complete.

If you have a difference in name and date of birth, contact customer service to have your scores manually copied into your application.

If you previously created a Living Profile account, a system where you can connect your academic pursuits with your career aspirations, you can choose to prefill parts of your BusinessCAS account using your existing Living Profile account.

Information such as colleges attended, coursework, standardized tests, experiences, etc., will be copied into the BusinessCAS application.

1. Verify your Living Profile account email address, which will also become the email address for your BusinessCAS account.
2. Select that you want to prefill your application and click Connect Account.
3. Your data will be copied to your new application. This can take up to six hours to complete.
4. Check your email inbox for a confirmation that your BusinessCAS account was created.
5. Log in to your BusinessCAS application and review the copied application data. You can make edits as needed.

A PDF of last cycle's application is only available if you submitted that application to at least one program. To download your application PDF,

1. Log in to the current cycle's application.
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the application, then select Payment History.
3. Click View Order Details next to the payment.
4. Click Download PDF.
