Overview

The Program Confirmation tool allows you to view the programs imported from ASSIST.org that will be available to students in the CSU Transfer Planner Student Portal in the next cycle. Program confirmations are separate from program configurations: during program confirmations, you confirm that all your programs are appropriately accounted for, while during program configurations, you update details about your programs, branding, and TSP requirements. Reviewing your programs is an important step to ensuring they are accounted for and accessible to students as they map their transfer journey.

Accessing the Configuration Portal

Log in to CSU Transfer Planner Configuration Portal using your university's unique login URL.
Using the Navigation Menu, click Settings.
Under the Organization section, click Transfer Planner Programs. A new window will open.
Click Confirm ASSIST Programs. Note that the years listed are the academic years, not the CSU Transfer Planner cycle year.
Review your programs; see Status Definitions for more information. You can use the search field to find specific programs or use the column sorting to group similar programs.
Use the Action drop-downs to note changes.
Once you have finished making changes, select the Submit For Review checkboxes so the Chancellor's Office knows that your review is done. You can do this individually per program or in bulk via the checkbox in the column heading.

Status Definitions and Actions

Programs in CSU Transfer Planner and ASSIST are compared to each other in a few ways:

Existing - No Action Needed	This program was in CSU Transfer Planner last year, is still in ASSIST in the new import, and no changes have been made in the new import.	No Change - Keep: use this if the program is still being offered. Hide: use this if the program is being discontinued.
Existing - Currently Hidden	This program was in CSU Transfer Planner last year, is still in ASSIST in the new import, but has been hidden from CSU Transfer Planner per your campus's request. For example, the program is currently not being offered.	Hide: use this if the program is being discontinued. Add: use this if the program can be visible to students in CSU Transfer Planner for the upcoming year.
New	This is a new program in ASSIST. It doesn't align with a program that was in ASSIST or CSU Transfer Planner last year.	Add: use this if the program can be visible to students in CSU Transfer Planner for the upcoming year. Note that you'll need to update its branding and program description during the Program Configuration period. Hide: use this if the program isn't ready to be visible to students yet. Name Change - Add: use this if the program is replacing an existing program from the previous year. You can select any program with an Existing - Missing From ASSIST status.
Existing - Missing From ASSIST	This program was in CSU Transfer Planner last year, but does not exist in ASSIST's new import.	Remove: use this if the program has been discontinued and should be removed from CSU Transfer Planner. Name Change - Remove: use this if the program is being replaced with a new program in the new import. You can select any program with a New status.
