Release 4 – May 4, 2025

New Features and Enhancements

CSU Transfer Planner Campus (i.e., University and Community College) Portals are built upon the Liaison Outcomes product, and so where you see "Outcomes" listed below, it applies to CSU Transfer Planner as well.

The following enhancements are now available in CSU Transfer Planner Student and Campus (i.e., University and Community College) Portals. If you have any questions about these features, contact a member of your account team or support.

Disclaimer: on rare occasions, a new feature or enhancement may be moved to a future release or otherwise subject to change.

Student Portal: Major Requirements View on Transfer Plan Page

Students are encouraged to complete specific major prerequisites (i.e., requirements) before they can transfer to a CSU, as it can help the transfer process and shorten the time spent earning their degree at a CSU. For each of a student's followed programs, they can now see a list of the transfer major prerequisites on the Transfer Plan page and identify which of their community college coursework meets each prerequisite. Additionally, students can quickly access their ASSIST articulation agreements for further guidance.

Student Portal: ADT Progress View on Transfer Plan Page

Students can choose to pursue an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) at a community college; pursuing this degree gives the student a smoother and more direct path to transferring to a CSU, as the ADT is fully transferable and guarantees priority admission (with minimum eligibility requirements).

If a student's followed program offers an ADT, students can now select the applicable ADT from the Transfer Plan page. They can then view the ADT coursework list and identify which of their community college coursework meets each prerequisite.

Campus Portals: University Portal Users Can Identify CSU Campus Release Reason for TSP Revocation

When University Portal users revoke students for a TSP agreement, they can now identify why the student is being released. A new CSU Campus Release Reason drop-down is available where you can select the most applicable option.

Additionally, to differentiate between the student's and the university's release reasons, the existing TSP Release Reason field was renamed TSP Student Release Reason.

Campus Portals: University Portal Users Can Update Intended Transfer Term

Occasionally, University Portal users need to note a change to a student's intended transfer term. To accommodate this, a new CSU Campus Anticipated Transfer Term field is available.

Additionally, to differentiate between the student's and the university's intended transfer terms, the existing Intended Transfer Term field was renamed Student Reported Intended Transfer Term.

Campus Portals: New Filters for Standardized Tests and General Education

To help you manage your student pools more efficiently, the Segments feature now has additional filter options, including:

  • Standardized Tests
  • General Education
Enhanced Email Deliverability Reporting

Beginning May 11, this enhancement is automatically available for use by all CASs and participating programs. No action is required on the part of any association, school, or program. Contact a member of your account team for more information.

For greater visibility into the status and performance of your emails, Outcomes now offers detailed reports on emails sent from the Applications Grid or Contacts Grid. These reports include information about each email's deliverability and recipients.

  • Improved email summary reports: full summary reports (previously only available for marketing emails) are now available for all emails sent via the Applications Grid or Contacts Grid. These reports include information on open and click rates, delivery and failure details, unsubscribes, and more.
  • Improved recipient status tracking: view which recipients received your emails and which did not, including reasons for failure.
  • Improved deliverability details for each message: from the Messaging section, you can now see a live delivery status (e.g., sent, failed, etc.) for each message you've sent.

To access the enhanced deliverability reports, click the Activity icon on the Navigation Menu, and click Emails. The details of emails sent prior to this enhancement are available by clicking OLDER EMAILS on this page.
