Welcome to Compact2Learn!

Compact2Learn is a tool used to capture student civic engagement experiences and measure civic learning outcomes. Students use Compact2Learn to track the details of their service or civic engagement programs, allowing institutions to evaluate student learning outcomes. Compact2Learn offers a forms and evaluation tool and an optional Online Approval feature, which allows supervisors and faculty to verify service or civic engagement programs. You can use Compact2Learn to verify supervisors' approval of student activities.

If your students participate in programs that use Online Approval, you can also monitor your students' progress with reports and approve or reject activities on behalf of a supervisor, if needed. Once a student submits activities for approval, you are notified via email.

1. Set Up Your Compact2Learn Account

If you haven’t already, please make sure to set up your Compact2Learn account. You will receive an email inviting you to create your account; follow the steps to complete registration, which will take less than five minutes.

As a faculty member, you will be monitoring your students’ progress, reviewing supervisor activity approval, and approving activities on behalf of the supervisor, when needed. Faculty will not see students until they create experiences and add them in the faculty role.
Before you can see or approve activities, students will need to submit them to their supervisor. When they do, you'll receive an email letting you know they've been submitted. You can always log in to your account to view your approval requests.
You can use any browser to access Compact2Learn, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Note that as of September 21, 2020, all versions of Internet Explorer, including Internet Explorer 11, are incompatible with Compact2Learn.

Account	Submit Activity Approvals
I have a faculty account and a supervisor account set up with two different email addresses. Can I merge them? Yes. Contact customer service to request a merge.	I've received a form or evaluation; however, I can't complete my section. If you have multiple roles in Compact2Learn, make sure you are logged in under the correct role. If you still can't complete the section, contact the institutional administrator or customer service to see if there is an error with the form.
