Release 4 – June 2023
New Enhancements & Features
Saved Rows from the Dynamic Email Editor
Have you ever had any of the following thoughts when creating emails in EMP?
-
It takes too long to rebuild email templates
-
I want to reuse certain parts of an email template to other email templates of mine.
-
I don't want to have to rebuild the same header and footer every time for all of my email templates
You are in luck! The EMP team is excited to announce the arrival of Saved Rows. While using a Dynamic Email Editor template, you can now save an entire row of content.
Creating engaging email content is hard work. Sometimes you spend a lot of time on certain rows of content and want to use the row in other email templates.
Imagine you just created the highlighted row of content, and you want to be able to save the row for future use:
While highlighting the row, if you click inside of the row, a new option will appear to the right of the comment button and to the left of the delete button - a save icon:
If you press that save icon, this module to save the row will appear:
Upon saving the row, if you press on the "Rows" icon, and change the dropdown from Empty to Saved Rows, you will find all of your saved rows available to drag and drop into whatever email content you want!
Filters to Make Duplicates Easier to Manage
Have you found yourself overwhelmed by the number of duplicates you have and struggle to find the time to de-dupe students?
The EMP team is excited to announce solutions for you!
EMP is adding two filters to the duplicates page to hide certain prospects from your view:
-
A stage filter to hide duplicates that are in the same stage (a pair of two prospects, for example)
-
A filter that hides duplicates from external platforms (for customers that utilize external platforms for their CRM and send Unique ID fields to EMP from your SIS)
Stage filter:
Did your search list just create a large number of duplicates? Do you want to hide those Prospect duplicates and just focus on duplicates from other stages?
You can now pick and choose which stage(s) to hide from your view if both duplicate pairs are in the same stage:
For the example above, by selecting "Prospect", you will be hiding all duplicate pairs in which both of their stages are Prospect.
Filter to hide pairs where values differ for Unique ID fields:
This is for our customers that send students from their SIS or CRM to EMP and use a Unique ID field from that SIS/CRM. If the duplicate starts in your SIS or CRM, the best place to get that duplicate resolved is in that external platform. The external duplicates will have different values for their respective Unique ID fields. This filter will hide all of those external duplicates from view and allow you to spend more time on the duplicates that are actionable in EMP.
Rather than wasting time in EMP trying to resolve those external duplicates, you can hide which Unique ID fields you want to:
Bug Fix
We have fixed a bug around invalid imports showing that they were completed when they actually were not.
