Living Profile Quick Start Guide
What is Living Profile?
Living Profile is a self-managed profile and achievement record that allows you to organize and showcase your academic history, experiences, goals, skills, and accomplishments in one place.
Using the platform helps you present your experiences and achievements to different audiences by allowing you to customize and share your profile. If you're still exploring your options, you can use career and salary insights to research potential career paths, schools, and programs. Once you've identified opportunities that align with your goals, you can reuse eligible information from your profile when completing CAS (centralized application service) applications.
Navigating the Dashboard
After logging in to your Living Profile, you land on the Dashboard, which provides a snapshot of your academic history, credentials, interests, and applications. The Dashboard is organized into these key areas:

- Navigation Bar: available on the left, the Navigation Bar allows you to quickly access and manage the various sections of your Living Profile.
- Profile picture: add a professional photo or headshot to personalize your profile.
- Enhance Your Profile: complete sections of your Living Profile by adding information such as your academic history, achievements, experiences, skills, goals, and supporting documents.
- My Living Profiles: create and manage customized profile views for different audiences, such as residency programs, internship opportunities, employers, or other professional contacts.
- Timeline: view a chronological record of the information and experiences you add to your profile.
- Wallet: store and manage digital credentials, including certificates, badges, and other qualifications. You can choose which credentials to share with others and which to display on your profile.
- Career Interest Profiler: complete an interest assessment to discover careers that align with your interests. Review your results, explore recommended occupations, and compare career options.
- My Interests: save schools, academic programs, and careers that you want to explore further.
- Fields of Study: track your academic goals by identifying degrees you plan to pursue, areas of study that interest you, and target application timelines.
- My Applications: view applications synchronized with supported CAS application services. When you're ready to apply, eligible information from your Living Profile can be reused to prepopulate portions of your application, helping you save time and reduce duplicate data entry.
- Applications you've started appear as In Progress.
- Programs saved in My Interests appear as Planned.
