Montana Residency Information
This section only applies to applicants who are US citizens or permanent residents.
Overview
In this section, indicate if you are claiming in-state tuition classification as a Montana resident. If you select Yes, provide responses to the following questions that establish your residency. If you cannot establish residency after completing the questions, your residency will default to out-of-state. You can appeal this with the admissions office at your chosen campus(es).
If you do not qualify or do not want to claim Montana residency for in-state tuition rates, select No, then select your state of residency.
