NDCAS Course Subjects
Overview
When completing the Transcript Entry section, you select your course subjects from a standardized list that was created in conjunction with the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC). These course subjects fall into categories that NDCAS uses to help calculate several GPAs. All course subjects are included in an overall GPA calculation, including course subjects not listed here.
If you're not sure which course subject to choose based on your course's title, default to the department the course is offered through. During verification, our team will update any course subjects that were incorrectly listed.
If you disagree with a course subject selected during verification, refer to Disputing and Correcting Course Subjects and GPAs for information on how to dispute a course subject decision. You can only dispute the subject assigned to your course; you cannot dispute the GPA that subject factors into.
