Matrix Optimization

A new module for creating strategic financial aid scholarship matrices powered by your customized predictive models. The Matrix will allow you to easily run different strategies to see how you could maximize your total enrollment. Different constraints can be set to see how budget, academic quality, and diversity goals would impact your class allowing you to develop your ideal financial aid strategy.

New Individual Page Visuals

The individual page now includes new visuals to better understand what can change an individual’s score; two for all customers and one additional for those who have Othot’s Sensitivity module.

Lifecycle Phase Likelihood Scores

View how the student's Likelihood Score is trending as they progress through the matriculation process.

Individual Score Impacts

Visually understand how the variables about a student are impacting their score.

Most Impactful What-If Sensitivity

Quickly see the impact of executing on the most influential action without having to run a What-if or Sensitivity analysis.

New Consolidated Page

A new cross High Impact Question (HIQ) summary page for individuals has been added. For customers with more than one HIQ, each individual will have an aggregate view of the most important information related to each HIQ an individual qualifies for.

Dashboard Updates

A line chart widget type has been added to the dashboard widget configurations. Also added is back-end support to create templates for dashboards and customized widgets.

Improved Confidence Ranges

Aggregate results for the upper and lower confidence intervals for Current, Forecast and What-If predictions have been greatly improved. Support has been added to display the likelihood score confidence intervals in the grid for each individual target.

Improved Aggregate Calculations

Aggregate forecasted adjustments have been improved to more accurately portray expected enrollment based upon the quantity of individuals currently represented in the data. In addition, a new calculated value will be available in an upcoming widget which will provide a more accurate aggregate class prediction throughout the entire year by accounting for the expected individuals not yet added to the platform, applicants that haven’t applied yet, prospects that haven’t been purchased, etc.

Derived Variables

Support to generate custom variable values based upon combinations of customer or Othot created variables. An example use is a human readable sentence based upon Likelihood Score and Action.

Deep Linking Improvements

Customers can now configure deep links based on a standard pattern that is a function of the deep link target. Currently, the Othot platform supports deep links to the consolidated page and the individual page.

Security Feature Enhancements

Customers can control the number of minutes that a logged-in user can be inactive before being logged out. A requirement has been added that the number of incorrect password attempts before a user’s account is locked out cannot exceed 25.

Pendo Integration

The Othot team can now create in-app guides and content designed to improve the user experience.

Scale and Performance Improvements

Improvements and technology upgrades to improve responsiveness of the application and account for more simultaneous operations with the Othot Data Science engine. This also includes improvements to support very large file uploads for model, predict and merge operations. Sensitivity scaling and volume throughput have also been improved.
