In the 2025-2026 cycle, PsychologyCAS offers fee waiver codes with the following values:

  • $80 for the first program selection
  • $60 for each additional program selection

PsychologyCAS fee waiver codes must be used by the cycle close date, August 24, 2026.

What are fee waiver codes?

Fee waiver codes are application fee discounts you can use to incentivize applicants to apply. If your institution uses this program, it will purchase fee waiver codes from Liaison and provide them to selected applicants.

Are fee waiver codes different than fee waivers?

Yes, fee waiver codes are different from the fee waiver program. Applicants can request and use both fee waiver codes and fee waivers. 

What is the process for payment between Liaison and institutions? 

Institutions can purchase fee waiver codes via the PsychologyCAS Coupon Code Gateway. First, enter your contact information and select the number of codes you want to purchase. Then, submit your request and enter your payment information. You can pay via credit card or PayPal.

Once you purchase codes, you'll receive a receipt and your fee waiver codes within two business days.

Who can I contact at Liaison with questions about fee waiver code purchases?

If you have any questions about requesting fee waiver codes, contact a member of your account team.

When will I receive my fee waiver codes?

You will receive your fee waiver codes via email within two business days from the date they were requested.

How many fee waiver codes can I request?

You can request as many fee waiver codes as you'd like, at any point during the application cycle. We recommend that you purchase in small quantities and request additional codes as needed.

When do fee waiver codes expire? 

All PsychologyCAS fee waiver codes requested in the 2025-2026 cycle expire on the cycle close date (August 24, 2026).

Will my institution receive a refund for unused fee waiver codes?

No, unused or expired fee waiver codes are non-refundable.

Can unused fee waiver codes carry forward to a new application cycle?

No, fee waiver codes are cycle-specific and can only be used in the cycle they were requested in.

Can applicants use fee waiver codes to apply to another institution?

Fee waiver codes waive the PsychologyCAS application fee and are not associated with any specific program; thus, applicants can use codes to apply to another PsychologyCAS institution. We recommend using fee waiver codes for applicants that you have a strong interest in recruiting and state explicitly the code should be used when they submit their PsychologyCAS application to your institution.

Can an applicant share their fee waiver code with other applicants?

No, each fee waiver code is unique and can only be redeemed once. We recommend communicating with applicants that they should not share codes with other applicants. If an applicant does share a code with another applicant, they will not be able to use it themselves.

What information should I give to applicants when providing fee waiver codes?

When you offer an applicant a fee waiver code, share the following information with them:

  • Enter the fee waiver code(s) on the PsychologyCAS payment page.
  • Use the fee waiver code before the program's deadline date.
  • Do not share the fee waiver code with others, as it can only be redeemed once.
  • Apply the fee waiver code to the school that offered it.

Can fee waiver codes be applied after an applicant submits and pays?

No, fee waiver codes cannot be redeemed after an application is submitted. No fee refunds can be issued for unused fee waiver codes.

Note that if the applicant misses your program deadline because they are waiting for your fee waiver code, they must request a deadline extension from you; contact a member of your account team for assistance.

How will my institution know that the intended applicant used the fee waiver code?

Liaison tracks each fee waiver code, when it was redeemed, and the applicant who redeemed it. Upon request, a member of your account team can generate a Fee Waiver Code Report that includes all fee waiver code batches generated within a specific date range.
