Configuration Portal Guide
Overview
In the ResidencyCAS application, applicants can view your program’s branding image and description. You can view and customize these in your program's Branding of the Configuration Portal. Configuring your program’s branding ensures that applicants see accurate information when they search for and apply to your program.

Granting Users Access to the Configuration Portal
Access to the Configuration Portal is controlled by a role permission. By default, program directors, managers, and coordinators have this permission, while users in other roles must have it enabled to gain access.

Accessing Your Program's Branding in the Configuration Portal
You can access your program's branding from the production environment’s Program Portal by following these steps:
- Access the Configuration Portal via the Portal Switcher.
- Click ResidencyCAS in the left menu.
- Click the current cycle.
- Click your program name.
- Hover over your program and click the Details button that appears to the right.
- Although program details are fixed, you can Preview how your branding and letters of recommendation sections appear to applicants.
- Click the Branding tab in the top menu.

Editing Your Program Image and Title
From the Branding page, you can upload an image that best represents your program, such as your facility, logo, or current residency class. Each year, program images will carry over and don’t require updates. A default image is used if no custom image is provided.
- Click Edit Header.
- Drag a file into the dropbox, or select a file using Click to browse.
- The image size must be 900px wide by 270px high and a file size of 250kb or less.
- Click Save.
You can also adjust your Text Brightness so your program name contrasts with the image, or remove it entirely. For example, if the white title blends in with your image, you can darken it.
- Click Edit Text Brightness.
- Choose whether you want the headline text displayed and select Yes or No.
- Adjust the text brightness by sliding the cursor from side to side.
- Click Save.
Editing Your Program Description
Click Edit Instructions to share important information about your program with prospective applicants. You can include details such as program requirements, curriculum highlights, training opportunities, nearby attractions, and other essential information about your program.
As a best practice, we recommend preserving your program’s FREIDA link and including any additional hyperlinks for applicants to learn more.
