Ada Style Specifications

Ada is an AI-powered chatbot that Liaison uses for applicant customer service. If the applicant is unsatisfied with the chatbot's answer, they can be redirected to RingCentral's live support chat.

Pre-generative bot 2025, these were the style guidelines:

When creating bot answers:

  • Keep responses to two sentences or less; divide responses into separate texts as necessary.
  • Use a casual, conversational tone. 
  • Use double quotes for button or link names (i.e., click “Submit”).
  • Divide steps into separate lines with numbers at the beginning (e.g., 1. Click the “Forgot your password?” link).
  • When using emojis, ensure they are relevant, understandable, and appropriate.
