Resending an Individual Email or SMS from Communication Planner

Email and SMS messages sent to Contacts are displayed in the Contact Activity visualforce page [TX_ CommPlanner_Contact Activity] on the Contact record. Should a contact need an email or SMS message resent, you can use the Re-send link from the Individual Email Activity widget:

  1. Navigate to the Contact record for the recipient.
  2. Scroll to the Email Activity History section.
    • If you do not see this section, contact your administrator to add it to the Contact page layout.
  3. In the Individual Email Activity widget, locate the email or SMS message you want to resend.
  4. Click Re-send for that message.

Note: if the recipient has opted out of email, the email will not be resent.
