Version 2609.1 & Back-End Update*
*Items marked with an asterisk are included in the back-end update and do not require a package upgrade.
- (CL-2551) Communication Planner displays sent and received statuses for campaigns, ensuring that delivery metrics accurately reflect the actual outcome of each message. Previously, campaign messages could display incorrect sent/received information, resulting in discrepancies between the reported status and the actual delivery behavior.
- (CL-2555) Communication Planner allows users to successfully update synced rows, even when those rows were previously deleted from associated templates, without generating errors. Previously, attempting to update synced rows that had been removed from templates could result in an error, preventing users from modifying those records as expected.
- *(CL-2560) SMS messages sent via the standard campaign flow appear correctly in the SMS Inbox, allowing users to review and manage outbound campaign conversations alongside other SMS activity. Previously, SMS messages sent through the standard campaign flow did not display in the SMS Inbox, limiting visibility into those campaign communications.
- (CL-2579) The Contact Record page remains visible when accessing SMS Inbox-related functionality, providing consistent navigation behavior within Communication Planner. Previously, navigating from the Contact Record page could unexpectedly redirect users directly to the SMS Inbox instead of keeping them on the contact record.
- (CL-2585) Inbound SMS messages appear correctly in the SMS Inbox in UCP, ensuring that incoming communications are visible and manageable alongside other message activity. Previously, some inbound SMS messages did not display in the SMS Inbox, reducing visibility into incoming contact responses.
- *(CL-2602) TargetX Email and Communication Planner successfully completes SendGrid registration even when required DNS records already exist, allowing registration to proceed without error in this configuration. Previously, attempting to register with SendGrid when DNS records were already in place could trigger an error, blocking completion of the registration process.
- (CL-2606) Communication Planner fully loads intended recipients before sending, preventing duplicate sends caused by partial or incomplete recipient loads. Previously, an incomplete recipient load could cause some recipients to receive the same communication more than once, resulting in unintended duplicate messages.
- *(CL-2612) Conditional content correctly evaluates conditions and expressions that include parentheses and displays the appropriate content in sent emails. Previously, the Communication Planner did not render conditional content when its condition or expression value contained parentheses, although content without parentheses displayed correctly.
- *(CL-2616) The SMS element correctly respects delivery status and does not resend messages that have already reached a Delivered state, ensuring that contacts receive a single intended message. Previously, in certain scenarios, the SMS element could resend messages even after they were marked as Delivered, resulting in duplicate SMS deliveries.

Version 2605.0
- (CL-2518) The Communication Planner Template Builder loads reliably. Previously, the editor failed to load consistently, preventing the editing of email templates.
- (CL-2522) Cloned Email quick messages in Communication Planner send as expected even when related records are inactive. Previously, cloned quick messages failed to send when the associated track or related items were inactive.
- (CL-2540) Archived Campaigns and Tracks appear correctly in the Report Validator email content. Previously, archived records were not represented accurately in the validator output.
- (CL-2543) Messages scheduled within fixed date tracks send on the intended date, ensuring both SMS and email elements deploy together as planned. Previously, in some campaigns, email messages were delayed by one day while SMS messages were deployed on schedule. This caused timing and relevancy issues for users scheduling same-day communications.
- (CL-2554) The Delivered Percentage on email campaign metrics is correctly calculated as Delivered Emails ÷ Emails Sent, without deduplication. Previously, the calculation incorrectly deduplicated delivery and send records before computing the percentage. This caused the Delivered Percentage to display inaccurately in some cases, even when the raw counts for delivered and sent emails were correct.
- (CL-2562) Admins can open the SMS Inbox in Communication Planner without timeout errors, even when assigned to multiple inboxes. Previously, some admin users experienced a “Problem Loading Contents” error when accessing the SMS Inbox due to server timeouts. This occurred in orgs with a high number of inboxes and prevented access until the timeout limit was extended.

Version 2602.0
- (CL-2461) Conditional content correctly renders and sends when special characters are included in the content or conditions. Previously, messages with special characters could fail to render or behave unexpectedly, resulting in incorrect or missing content in emails.
- (CL-2495) Emails that are successfully sent and delivered display a correct Message Status and accurate Received flag in Communication Planner. Previously, some successfully delivered emails were incorrectly reported as Message Status = Failed and Received = No, creating confusion in reporting and troubleshooting
- (CL-2511) Fixed-date tracks send on the configured dates and times without delay or omission. Previously, messages in fixed-date tracks could skip or miss the expected send date, causing campaigns to go out late or not at all.
- (CL-2512) The Activity Center loads recipient lists reliably and completes large (45k+) sends without timing out. Previously, accessing or sending to large recipient lists often resulted in timeouts, preventing users from completing large sends.
- (CL-2515) Campaigns and tracks that include tags can be saved and updated successfully in Communication Planner. Previously, attempts to save campaigns or tracks that used tags failed, blocking users from configuring or updating tagged assets.
November 2025
Version 2511.26
- (CL-2449) Report counts for Quick Messages populate correctly. Previously, the report count did not display the number of contacts.
- (CL-2503) Adding and saving Image Content to a Sync’d row works correctly. Previously, adding and saving Image Content while editing a Sync Row deleted all other rows in the Email Template, leaving only the edited Sync Row with the image.

Version 2508.2 and back-end update
- (CL-1459) The Individual Contact Activity table shows duplicate records when the track is created with the "Allow more than one email per recipient" option enabled, and the report includes duplicate contacts. Previously, the Individual Email Activity widget on the Contact page combined these into a single Broadcast, which limited users' ability to choose a specific email to resend.
- (CL-2276) The TargetX Communication Planner tab opens without error. Previously, the associated Visualforce page would throw a NullPointerException if a user had a Permission Set Assignment linked to a deleted Permission Set.
- (CL-2317) The Twilio credentials sync status message displays with correct spelling. Previously, the word “credential” was misspelled.
- (CL-2353) Test list recipients are excluded from the recipient count. Previously, the recipient list page displayed incorrect counts compared to the activity list page when duplicate recipients were present.
- (CL-2372) You can create a template in Communication Planner even when images are password-protected. Previously, password-protected images prevented the Template Editor from opening.
- (CL-2416, CL-2434) When a send has zero recipients and no emails are sent, the activity is marked as "Sent: Zero Recipients." Previously, the status in the Activity Center was incorrectly shown as "Failed."
- (CL-2421) Synced rows now display correctly immediately after saving. Previously, a saved row did not appear as a synced row until the editor was closed and reopened.
- (CL-2425) The template list now displays correctly when adding a new Email element. Previously, some templates were missing and triggered a console error.
- (CL-2444) SMS now functions reliably under load. Previously, usage spikes caused the database to exceed CPU limits, resulting in timeouts and errors.
July 2025
Back-end update (no package update required)
- (UCP-1922) Messages now process successfully in Communication Planner. Previously, an intermittent error would occur due to a failure in reading message batches from the message_batches database table.
- (UCP-1453) Elements removed from Steps are now fully deleted. Previously, SMS messages could be sent from these deleted (or "ghost") elements and would still appear in the Activity Center.
February 2025
Version 2502.0
- (CL-2257) The updated UI now prompts you to "Select your image." Previously, the interface suggested that you could drop an image into the window. However, drag-and-drop functionality for images is not supported.
- (CL-2277) Communication Planner permission sets can now be included in Permission Groups. Previously, this was not possible.
- (CL-2303) Track Details descriptions enforce a limit of 255 characters. Previously, the limit of 100 characters generated errors.
December 2024
Version 2412.0
- (CL-2270) Campaign data is accurately reflected in the Reports section of the Communication Planner. Previously, the data shown in report graphs did not align with the data in the Activity Center.
