TargetX Accessibility Overview

TargetX Accessibility Statement

TargetX is committed to providing accessible products to our clients and to their prospective and current students, regardless of technology or ability. We continuously improve the accessibility and usability of our products by following internationally recognized standards and guidelines.

TargetX’s goal is to achieve conformance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, with Level AA as our primary target and selected Level AAA criteria implemented where feasible. These guidelines explain how to make digital experiences more accessible for people with disabilities and improve usability for all users.

Our products and associated features are built using code that conforms to W3C standards for HTML and CSS, helping ensure that our products display correctly in current and future browsers. While TargetX strives to adhere to accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in every area of every product and feature.

TargetX is committed to our clients, and any reported accessibility issues are reviewed and, where appropriate, scheduled for remediation. Clients are encouraged to notify TargetX Support at support@targetx.com if they encounter any accessibility concerns.

TargetX Accessibility Guidelines

  • TargetX is committed to building accessible digital experiences. Our development process follows international accessibility best practices, including the Revised Section 508 standards under the Rehabilitation Act and the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, with a primary conformance target of Level AA and additional Level AAA success criteria implemented wherever feasible.
  • Currently, TargetX products conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility requirements, as incorporated into the Revised Section 508 standards. Our teams are actively enhancing our products and features to align, where applicable, with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and selected Level AAA criteria.
  • As part of this remediation plan, TargetX is conducting a comprehensive accessibility audit of our products and features. Completed VPATs and accessibility evaluations will distinguish between (1) external, public-facing experiences and (2) internal, staff-facing experiences, and this audit will be performed at least annually and after major product releases to support ongoing alignment with WCAG 2.2.
  • TargetX leverages a combination of automated accessibility testing tools and structured manual testing, including keyboard‑only navigation, screen reader workflows, and mobile testing. Identified accessibility issues are triaged, prioritized, and remediated in accordance with our Accessibility Corrective Action Plan
  • TargetX collaborates with partners who share our commitment to accessibility, including Informatica and Salesforce. Because these are independent platforms, their accessibility is governed by their own standards and documentation; clients should consult each vendor’s accessibility resources for product‑specific information.
  • TargetX values client feedback. Reported accessibility issues are reviewed and, where appropriate, scheduled for remediation in accordance with the criteria and timelines described in the Remediation section below. Clients are encouraged to contact TargetX Support at support@targetx.com with any accessibility concerns so we can continue to improve our products for all users.

Audit and Compatibility Measures

TargetX is committed to ensuring that our products align with WCAG 2.2, with Level AA as our primary conformance target and selected Level AAA criteria implemented where feasible. As part of this Corrective Action Plan, TargetX is conducting a comprehensive accessibility audit of all products and features. For the purposes of evaluation and documentation, our products and features are grouped into two categories: (1) external, public‑facing pages and experiences, and (2) internal, staff‑facing pages and experiences. This audit is performed on a recurring basis to support ongoing accessibility improvements.

Annual Reviews

As part of this Corrective Action Plan, TargetX conducts regular reviews of our products and features. Each review includes:

  • Complete testing of relevant products and features using appropriate automated tools and structured manual testing.
  • A documented remediation plan for any accessibility issues identified.
  • Updating of VPATs on at least an annual basis, or more frequently when significant changes occur.

Reported Issues

Feedback from our clients is valued at TargetX, and any reported issues will be reviewed and, if appropriate, assigned for development based on the criteria level noted in the Remediation section of this document.

Interpretation of WCAG Guidelines

TargetX uses respected industry tools and methodologies to evaluate conformance with WCAG 2.2, with Level AA as our primary target and selected Level AAA criteria implemented where feasible. Because some WCAG requirements involve professional judgment and manual testing, TargetX reserves the right to determine conformance levels and remediation priorities based on the good‑faith interpretations of our Product Development and Engineering teams.

Tools

TargetX leverages automated tools to scan our products on an ongoing basis as new development work is released. Our teams also conduct routine manual testing, including keyboard only navigation and screen reader workflows, to validate real world accessibility. When issues are identified, our Product Development and Engineering teams prioritize and address them to maintain alignment with accessibility best practices. TargetX currently utilizes the following tools as part of our accessibility testing process:

  • Axe browser extension – Automated accessibility checker used to identify common WCAG issues in web pages.
  • WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool - WAVE can identify many accessibilities and Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) errors and facilitates human evaluation of web content.
  • NVDA – Windows screen reader used to verify that content, controls, and workflows are properly announced, labeled, and operable for non visual users.
  • VoiceOver – A tool for Mac users to ensure audio elements are adequately provided, labeled, and described to the user.
  • HTML_CodeSniffer – Analyzes a page's HTML for accessibility related coding issues based on predefined and customizable rules.
  • tota11y – Provides visual overlays that highlight potential accessibility issues and how a site may perform with assistive technologies.
  • Manual testing - Structured, human-led testing (including keyboard-only, screen reader, and scenario-based testing) to evaluate accessibility issues that automated tools cannot reliably detect.

Remediation Plan

Criteria Levels

Issues discovered through testing, during an annual review, or reported by a client are categorized into three levels:

Low - Low‑severity issues have a limited impact on accessibility or overall use of the product or related features. These issues are addressed based on priority through TargetX’s standard product refinement processes and may be added to future product roadmaps.

High - High‑severity issues do not fully block access or use of the product or related features but can create significant barriers over time. These issues are scheduled for remediation and released as part of standard product releases.

Critical - Critical issues prevent users from accessing or using the product or related features. These issues are treated as TargetX critical defects and prioritized for expedited remediation, either in a standard product release or, when necessary, through a one‑time patch.

TargetX Accessiblity Remediation Timelines

This timeline reflects TargetX’s accessibility priorities, remediation strategies, and planned efforts to support alignment with WCAG 2.2, with Level AA as the primary target and selected Level AAA criteria implemented where feasible. The plan is subject to change based on the severity and priority of issues identified through testing, regular reviews, or client feedback.
