Creating a Faculty Alerts Community and giving access to Standard Salesforce Users

You can use both a Community and the tab in Salesforce. If you choose this option, you’ll need to complete all of the following setups. Follow the order of the steps outlined in the Faculty Early Alerts Implementation article:

• Configure the Faculty Early Alerts Community.
• Configure a Salesforce Tab in for the Faculty Roster.
• In Faculty Early Alert Settings, select Community as the access method.

Selecting Community in Faculty Early Alert Settings enables the Community experience while allowing faculty with Salesforce access to use the Faculty Roster tab.
