Configuring TargetX PDF Merging Service Custom Settings

The TargetX PDF Merging Service Custom Setting defines:

• The apps needed to merge and convert application documents for the reader.
• The Proxy URL that is used when downloading attachment files from Salesforce.

1. Navigate to Setup and search for Custom Settings.
2. Select Manage next to TargetX PDF Merging Service.
3. The following settings are available:

• API Request Threshold defines the threshold % of total API calls that will stop the cache batch run. This will default to 50%, but can be changed. If this threshold is reached, the Cache Batch will stop, and users will be notified in the Apex Jobs “status” field. For details on API Limits, see: Monitoring if API Limit is Exceeded.
• App Endpoint defines the location for the pdf merge provider. ​

Note: You must manually type in the following App Endpoint. Do not Copy & Paste.

• For U.S. clients, this should be set to: 

https://targetx-pdf-merge.herokuapp.com/

• For EU clients, this should be set to: 

https://targetx-pdf-merge-eu.herokuapp.com/

• Doc Convertor URL defines the location for the document conversion provider (deprecated).
  • This should be left blank.

• Attachment Proxy URL defines the URL of a reverse proxy to be used when downloading attachment files from Salesforce.
