Updating the Community Theme
The Community Theme is a set of Properties associated with a Community, such as styling and configuration that you can customize to meet your institution's needs.
- Navigate to the Community Theme tab.
- If the fields Homepage, Header Logo, Header Text Line 1, Header Text Line 2, Hero Image, Hero Text are not available on the Community Theme tab, follow these steps to add them:
- Under Page Layouts, select Edit the Community Theme Layout.
- Select the Fields group from the page layout palette and drag the Homepage, Header Logo, Header Text Line 1, Header Text Line 2, Hero Image, Hero Text field onto the page layout.
- Save your changes.
- Create a Static Resource for your Header Logo and Header Image.
- Navigate to your Community Theme and Edit.
- Enter values for each of the new fields added to the Layout:

| Homepage |
The name of the Visualforce page that loads after login and when the user returns from the Online App page. Enter TargetX_Portal__PB; this uses the Standard Applicant Dashboard, not the Portal Builder theme. TargetX_Base__Portal uses the Portal Builder Theme. Note: If a Homepage is NOT specified, or an invalid pagename is entered, "tx_communitieshome" will be used by default. |
| Header Logo (Static Resource Name) | The logo appears in the top left of the page. This is the name of the Static Resource that contains the logo. This image is 70 x 60 px and is good for using a shield or your mascot. |
| Header Text Line 1 | The text that appears in the first line of the Header. We recommend you use your School Name. |
| Header Text Line 2 | The second line of text appears under the Header. For example, Student Portal. |
| Hero Image | The name of the Static Resource that contains the hero image is a full-width image that displays directly below the header. The size of this image is 1336 x 260 px; this is a different size than that used on the Sign-In page, which is 1440 x 400 px. |
| Hero Image Mobile | The name of the Static resource containing the hero image for Mobile devices.

| Applicant Dashboard Events URL | The URL for Events in the Applicant Dashboard. |
| Appointments Desktop Header Logo | The logo appears in the top left of the Appointment Scheduler desktop page. This is the name of the Static Resource that contains the logo. This image is 160 x40 px and is good for using a shield or your mascot. The image file should be 300KB or less. If left blank, the system will use TargetX logos.

This optional image is a Logo Icon that appears in Desktop view only. This is the name of the Static Resource that contains the logo. This image is 48px width by 48px height and should be 300KB or less. If left blank, it will appear blank. |
