TargetX Communities Configuration Overview
TargetX Events can be set up as publicly accessible (via Sites) or restricted - to only be accessible to authenticated students (via Experiences). Making Events publicly accessible via Sites is the recommended option for prospective students - as it makes your institution’s events easily accessible with a low barrier to registration. Events via Experiences is a great solution for current students. This option will allow students to authenticate and then easily register for events without completing registration forms.
TargetX Appointment Scheduler allows a student to schedule an appointment with support staff from your institution. The Appointment Scheduler allows students to search for available times based on the availability defined by each advisor/staff/faculty. Students can then select the date/time that is most convenient for them. Confirmation and reminder emails will keep the student and advisors informed leading up to the appointment.
TargetX Online Application provides a fully customized, secure, and mobile-first online application for admission that is connected to the student’s record in the CRM. Students can apply via their computer or mobile device. Admins can utilize a user-friendly interface to configure the application and apply conditional logic capable of handling complex branching logic in order to display only relevant questions to an applicant.
TargetX Portal is a tool that allows you to easily customize your portal to provide an engaging experience for constituents that is both tailored and targeted. Add your institution branding and tailor the content and message delivery based on user characteristics. With the Portal, your portal will not only include application data, but text, images, video and easy access to TargetX Events or TargetX Appointment Scheduler.
You may have multiple Digital Experiences in your Salesforce instance. If you have purchased a license for any of these TargetX products, please proceed with installing the appropriate package(s).
