Upgrading Communities by deleting the package and reinstalling
- Remove all references to TX_ pages in your communities setup under Setup > Digital Experiences > All Sites > Workspaces.
- Navigate to Setup and search for Installed Packages.
- Find TargetX Communities and Uninstall.
Note: If references still exist for Communities components upon Uninstall, you will receive the error 'Unable to Uninstall Package.' A list of Problems will display for any components still in use. You must update these components to remove the Communities references and Uninstall them again.
- Reinstall the new package. You can obtain the Communities package and passwords from the TargetX Recruitment Suite: Admin Group or the TargetX Online App: Admin Group.
- Review the TargetX Communities Configuration Guide to enable VF page access and set up your Community again.
Note: You must also update the Guest Site User profile permissions to grant access to Visualforce pages.
