Upgrading Communities by deleting the package and reinstalling

  1. Remove all references to TX_ pages in your communities setup under Setup > Digital Experiences > All Sites > Workspaces.
  2. Navigate to Setup and search for Installed Packages.
  3. Find TargetX Communities and Uninstall.

Note:  If references still exist for Communities components upon Uninstall, you will receive the error  'Unable to Uninstall Package.' A list of Problems will display for any components still in use. You must update these components to remove the Communities references and Uninstall them again.

  1. Reinstall the new package. You can obtain the Communities package and passwords from the TargetX Recruitment Suite: Admin Group or the TargetX Online App: Admin Group.
  2. Review the TargetX Communities Configuration Guide to enable VF page access and set up your Community again.

Note:  You must also update the Guest Site User profile permissions to grant access to Visualforce pages.
