TargetX Email Dashboard FAQ
- How far back can I go in the date picker?
- You can select any 90-day range.
- Why don’t my scheduled broadcasts have recipient count?
- The system doesn’t calculate a Recipient Count until it begins processing the broadcast, to ensure that every valid recipient is included at the time of sending.
- What do the different broadcast statuses mean?
-
Sent: This broadcast was successfully processed and sent to Sendgrid for delivery.
Processing: This broadcast is currently being processed. We’re building all the individual emails from your recipient list and the provided template, and then we’ll pass them on to Sendgrid for delivery.
Hold: This broadcast is on hold. The campaign owner should have received an email notification, and they can click the link in the email to release it.
Failed: This broadcast failed to send. You can click on the status icon to see more information about why.
Scheduled: This broadcast is scheduled for the future.
- What happens if I see a Failed broadcast?
-
If the Failed status indicator is underlined, you can click on it to view a pop-up with an error code, an error message, and possibly a link to a knowledge base article with more information. This will either give you the information you need to fix the issue yourself or give you exactly the information you need to give to support to get the quickest resolution.
TargetX is currently rolling out error handling to Orgs in the backend throughout the month of July, and all users should see all errors clickable by 08/01/19.Note: If you do NOT see a link on the Failed status indicator, please submit a Support ticket so they can investigate the problem.
- How long should a broadcast take to send?
- Generally speaking, the mean send time is roughly around 25 minutes, though it takes 40 minutes to clear the queue at the top of the hour, so individual broadcasts can vary.. You can expect all but the largest broadcasts to clear within that 40-minute window.
If you are seeing emails routinely take longer than 60 minutes, please contact TargetX Support with a list of broadcast IDs so we can investigate.
- Can I sort the table?
- Yes. The default sort is by Start Time, most recent to oldest. Click the header of any column to re-sort the table.
- Can I restart failed broadcasts?
- Not at this time, though that is planned for a future release.
- Why don't I see the Broadcast I just scheduled?
- The submitter checks for newly scheduled broadcasts every 20 minutes, so it can take up to 20 minutes before recently scheduled broadcasts are visible in the dashboard.
