Creating the Events app in Lightning

Navigate to Setup and search for App Manager.
Click the New Lightning App button.
Enter the following:

App Name = Events
Developer Name = TargetX Events
Description = TargetX Events Lightning App
Image = image of your choice, optional

Select Next.
Select the Navigation Style.
Indicate a Setup Experience of Setup.
Select Next.
Select Next again.
Add the following Navigation Items:

Home
Organization Calendar
Organization Events
Travel Groups
Travel Planner
Discounts
Locations
Reports

Select Next.
Indicate the Profiles that can access this App.
Select Save & Finish.
