Configuring Group Assignment options when a user leaves your institution

Scenario 1

If you want it to continue to do an even distribution of new students.

Note: This is how the system works by default.


For example:

person1 = 401, person2 = 402, person3 = 1


Follow the steps outlined here: Configure Group Assignment to do an even distribution of NEW students when a user leaves.

Scenario 2

If you want it to continue to do an even distribution of all students. 

For example:

Assignment Group has 2 people, person1 (400 people), person2 (400 people)
A new person is added to the Assignment Group (person3)
By default, all Records Owned counts will be set to 0.

Scenario 3

If you want the Students for the person who is leaving to be evenly assigned to the remaining users.

For example:

Person1 = 400, Person2 = 400, Person3 = 400
