Insights Equity Dashboard

The Equity Dashboard displays data by Term and Segment (Ethnicity or Gender).

The Dashboard includes:

• Application Funnel Conversion shows the progress of your applicant student pool through the key decision points of the admissions funnel for one term. The volume of students at each stage is shown, as well as the rate at which they are converting from one stage to the next.
• Percent of Applicants that Enrolled shows the percentage of students who converted to enrolled after starting an application for each student segment. It also shows which student segments have a higher conversion rate than the overall student population and which have a lower conversion rate.
• Percent of Admitted Students that Enrolled shows the percentage of students who converted to enrolled after being offered admission for each student segment. It also shows which student segments have a higher conversion rate than the overall student population, and which have a lower conversion rate.
• Attrition Rate per Funnel Decision Point shows the difference between the conversion rate of each student segment compared to the overall student population. In this plot, we show only the difference or "gap" in the conversion for each funnel decision point transition. This lets us see which student segments convert at higher or lower rates than the overall student population.
• Count of Students per Funnel Decision Point Count of distinct individuals at each funnel stage for the selected term and segmented by the conformed IPEDS Ethnicity field value from the student record.
