Salesforce Summer '25 release and verified Org-Wide Email Addresses

Due to changes introduced in the Salesforce Summer '25 release, we’ve observed that some triggered emails may fail to send if a verified Org Wide Email Address is not explicitly selected.

We are currently evaluating email functionality in our packages where messages are sent "as" individual users—such as students or staff.

We have confirmed the following impacts:
•    Online Application Recommendation Requests sent “as” the student/requestor
•    Kudos and Alerts from the Faculty Early Alerts sent “as” the advisor

Previously, leaving the Org-Wide Email Address blank on a parent Application Form allowed recommendation requests to send on behalf of the student. This configuration must now be updated to use a verified Org Wide Email Address.

For Faculty Early Alerts, if emails are configured to send from the faculty member, each faculty member’s email address must now be verified. Alternatively, you may configure these alerts to send from a verified Org Wide Email Address.
