Salesforce Triggered Emails FAQ

Due to changes introduced in the Salesforce Summer '25 release, we have identified that triggered email requests may fail to send if a verified Org-Wide Email Address is not used. This impacts certain areas of our product where emails are sent "as" another user (e.g., student or faculty). We are actively investigating the full scope of the impact and will provide updates and remediation steps as they become available.

We are actively investigating other functionality that may allow emails to be sent from a non-verified address. Additional impacted areas will be communicated as they are confirmed.

How can I tell if my Org Wide Email Address is verified?

You can check this in Salesforce Setup:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Email > Organization-Wide Addresses
  2. Look for the "Verified" status next to each email address.

Every recommendation app form record has a field “Org Wide Address”. This field must have a verified Org Wide Email address for each recommendation app form and will be used as the sender address for the recommendation.
