Triggering Prospect Scoring to recalculate scores after changing my formulas

To trigger Prospect Scoring to recalculate based on formula updates, you'll have to update each of the objects you use in your Prospect Scores. For example, if you have a prospect score for Email, Application, and Activity. You'll have to edit each object to get the total prospect score to recalculate on the Contact. You have several options to accomplish this:

  • Option 1: If you have a field on each object that you can change without any disruptions to your data, you can update that field (i.e., set a Discount Code to 0 or 1 on the application).
  • Option 2: Create a checkbox field and label it Prospect Scoring Reset on each object. Then, use a data tool, such as Informatica, to map the checkboxes to check. That will then fire an update to the object and trigger prospect scoring to update.
  • Option 3: Allow the total Prospect Score to calculate organically.
