Rationale

The marketing team is responsible for printing and sending flyers to students who have opted in and want more information about the campus. Previously, the team was marking off students who have received intro flyers on a Google Sheet. TX Print will alleviate and simplify many of their printing workflows and eliminating user error.

Objectives

  • Describe how to access and navigate TX Print
  • Summarize best practices for reports used for TX Print
  • Demonstrate how to create letters, envelopes and labels
  • Identify where in the CRM to view completed mailings

Materials

  • Salesforce licenses, permissions, and permission sets
  • Powerpoint Presentation Deck  
  • Liaison Academy’s Leveraging TX Print
  • TX Print Help Center
  • Test Report: report with test contacts

Activities

  • Access TX Home and TX Print
  • Divide the learners into two groups:
  • One group creates an envelope template with the help of the TX Print Help Center.
  • The other creates a test letter template with the help of the TX Print Help Center.
  • These learners should have already taken the Leverage TX Print eLearning course in Liaison Academy.
  • After 15 minutes the groups present their work then switch their activity.
  • Access reports and set up a test mailing campaign with a test report. Review the activity in Salesforce.

Evaluation and Feedback

As learners work in groups review their work. Have them teach back or show their work to the other groups to create a collaborative learning environment.
