    7. Double-clicking the wrench will launch DemandTools.

Login Credentials

  • The DemandTools username and password are the same as the username and password used for Salesforce, but you must append your Salesforce security token to the end of the password. (If you don't know your security token, reset it by navigating to Setup > My Personal Setup > Personal Information. A new security token will be emailed to you).

Note: Remember that if the password or security token changes for Salesforce, it will also change for DemandTools.

  • To avoid using the security token on every login attempt, follow these steps to add your computer to the Salesforce trusted list.
  1. Visit www.ipchicken.com.
  2. Copy the IP address the website shows.
  3. Log in to Salesforce.
  4. Click on Setup.
  5. Under Administration Setup expand Security Controls.
  6. Click on Network Access.
  7. Click New.
  8. Paste the IP address from www.ipchicken.com in the start and end range and click Save.

Note: This process will allow Salesforce to recognize the user's specific PC and bypass the need for a Security Token upon logging into DemandTools from that PC.
