Residency Reports

Overview

Residency Reports provide a visual representation of your CAS’s residency-related data. You can use these reports to compare residency data cycle-over-cycle. Filters in each report allow for more detailed analytics.

Applicants by State of Residency

This report provides a map that illustrates the number of applicants from each state in the United States. Legal State of residency is self-reported by the applicant in the application.

Current drill-down filters for this report include:

  • Application Cycle
  • Applicant Status (further narrowing Submitted applicants to only Complete, or only Verified applicants)
  • Individual School or Group of Schools
  • Program Type (e.g. “All Online Programs” - defined by the CAS)
  • Program Degree level (e.g. “All PhD programs” - defined by the CAS)
  • Gender (Male / Female / Decline to State)
  • Ethnicity / Race (“high-level” categories – White, Black, Asian, American Indian / Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian / Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Two or More, Did Not Report)
  • Citizenship Status (U.S. Citizen, Temporary Resident, Permanent Resident, Non-Resident)
  • Decision Code (Denied, Offer Made, Offer Accepted, etc. - most relevant for drill-down when viewing these statistics for a single school)

Applicants by US Citizenship Status – Count

This report provides a count of citizenship statuses in an applicant pool.

Citizenship Status is self-reported by the applicant in the application.

Current drill-down filters for this report include:

  • Application Cycle
  • Applicant Status (further narrowing Submitted applicants to only Complete, or only Verified applicants)
  • Individual School or Group of Schools
  • Program Type (e.g. “All Online Programs” - defined by the CAS)
