Official GRE Scores

Requirements

You must submit official GRE scores if more than 25% of your undergraduate coursework is from a US institution with non-traditional grades. GRE general test scores cannot be more than five years old.

Unofficial GRE scores can be uploaded to the Supplemental Material Upload website

Note that many graduate programs require or recommend certain standardized tests. See individual program listings in the Graduate Programs section for more information and contact individual graduate programs directly for more information on minimum score requirements.

Process

Official GRE scores are submitted electronically to University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Graduate Division directly from Educational Testing Services (ETS) using GRE code 4867. Paper copies are not accepted.

Official GRE scores from ETS can be received by University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Graduate Division at any point during the application cycle, even after your application is submitted; however, some programs may have a deadline by which they want your scores received.

Note that ETS provides the GRE® Fee Reduction Program for individuals who can demonstrate financial need, for those who are unemployed and receiving unemployment compensation, and for national programs that work with underrepresented groups. To learn more about this program, review the GRE® Fee Reduction Program page.
