Selecting University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Graduate Division Programs

• Check each program's deadline requirements.
  • Deadlines vary for each graduate program. If you miss the application deadline, you MUST consult with the graduate program before submitting your application. Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Some graduate programs at UHM have set priority deadlines in addition to application deadlines. Applicants are advised to contact the intended graduate program for the priority dates. In many cases, graduate programs make offers of financial support well in advance of application deadlines. Funding is limited and often awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to the most-qualified applicants.
• Confirm your eligibility. Research the program and determine if you are eligible to apply. Contact the program directly if you have any questions regarding your eligibility. We do not verify program requirements so it is your responsibility to ensure you are eligible. We also do not provide transcript evaluations until you submit both a complete application and either unofficial or official transcripts from all universities or colleges attended.

1. Click Add Program at the top of the application home page.
2. Use the filters to locate the programs you are interested in applying to.
3. Click the plus sign next to a program to add it to your program list. You must select at least one program to continue completing the application. If you want to remove a program and only have one selected, you need to add the second program before you can remove the first one.
4. Continue adding programs as desired.
5. Begin filling out the application. Before submitting, be sure to review your program list to make sure you are applying to all your intended programs.

Note that by submitting your application, you are committing to applying to your selected programs. You cannot substitute or remove submitted programs after submissions. Additionally, we do not offer refunds for selections made in error.
