Review the important application cycle dates below. In some instances, the individual program's deadline may differ from the application's cycle dates. To view a program's deadline date, click Add Program and review the information under Deadline. You can submit your application up until 11:59 PM HST on the deadline date.

Deadlines

  • Application Deadlines: All application deadlines are set by the graduate programs. Graduate Division Student Services begins processing admissions applications on August 1 for the following Fall and Summer semesters and on April 1 for the following Spring semester. We recommend you review individual program listings for application deadlines and apply well in advance of the posted deadlines. 
  • Priority Consideration Deadlines: Some graduate programs at UH Mānoa have set priority deadlines in addition to application deadlines; contact your program for more information. In many cases, graduate programs make offers of financial support well in advance of application deadlines. Funding is limited and often awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to the most qualified applicants.
  • Missed Deadlines: Deadlines vary for each graduate program. If you miss the application deadline, you must consult with the intended graduate program before submitting an application. Application fees are non-refundable.
