Notifications

As you progress through the application process, you'll receive important notifications and critical alerts. Applicants are responsible for monitoring these notifications and following up on any required actions. To view your notifications, click the Notifications icon on the left side of the application dashboard.

Application Status

Your application status may be:

Status Description
In Progress

Your application has not yet been submitted or you haven’t paid the application fee.
Received

Your application has been submitted.
Completed

Your application was successfully submitted. Note that your selected programs may have specific completion requirements (i.e., supplemental applications and documents, letters of recommendation, statements of objectives, unofficial transcripts, document uploads, test scores, writing samples, etc.). We recommend contacting your graduate program directly to ensure you are meeting all requirements. Failure to submit all required materials may jeopardize your eligibility for admission consideration. For more information, visit the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Graduate Division website. 

Application Materials Statuses

View the status of your application materials in the Statuses section on the left side of the application dashboard. Keep in mind that it takes five business days from the date of receipt to post official test scores to your application. Recommendations are immediately updated once received from your recommender.

Academic Records

View the status of your transcript(s) and/or foreign evaluations for each college or university on the Academic Records page. Your academic record's status may be:

Received

This status indicates that your transcript has been uploaded and posted to your application. Your transcript will be shared with all your programs.

Recommendations

View the status of your recommendation requests under Recommendations. Your recommendation's status may be:

Status Description
Requested This status indicates that the request was sent to the recommender, but they have not accepted or declined it. They must accept your request before they can submit their recommendation.
Accepted  This status indicates that the recommender accepted your request but has not yet submitted their recommendation.
Completed This status indicates that the recommender completed and submitted their recommendation and it was sent to your program(s).
Declined This status indicates that the recommender declined your recommendation request. Please add another recommendation request.

Official Test Scores

If applicable, view the status of your official test scores under Official Test Scores. Your official test score's status is listed as Received with the date University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Graduate Division received it for each program you applied to.
