Foreign and French-Canadian Transcripts

Overview

This topic pertains to applicants who attended foreign and French-Canadian schools.

Canadian Schools

English-Canadian Transcripts

Canadian schools that provide English transcripts are not considered foreign. Transcripts from these schools must be sent to University of North Texas Graduate CAS. Please see the US and English-Canadian Transcripts section for information on reporting that coursework.

French-Canadian Transcripts

Canadian schools that issue transcripts in French are considered foreign and must be reported like any other foreign school. See Documenting Foreign Coursework below for more information.

Caribbean Medical Schools

All Caribbean medical schools are considered foreign institutions and are not US accredited, even if they have offices in the US or allow US licensing. Do not send transcripts from these schools to University of North Texas Graduate CAS, as they will be discarded. Foreign transcripts can be uploaded under Colleges Attended. See Documenting Foreign Coursework below for more information.

Documenting Foreign Coursework

If you attended a foreign school or earned your degree outside of the United States, you must upload scanned copies of your official native-language transcripts and degree certificates. If these documents are not in English, you must also upload certified English translations.  Individual semester marksheets are required if issued by your institute. You must upload all pages in a single file.

Uploaded documents are considered unofficial and used for evaluation purposes only. Official documents are required upon admission.

If you are admitted, official international academic documents can be submitted in one of the following ways:
