You can update basic information about yourself on the My Profile page. To access, click your name in the upper right of the application and select My Profile.
My Profile
Your Legal Name
Enter or update your legal name, including suffixes. VMCAS will use this name in all communications.
Contact Information
Enter or update your email address and phone number(s).
Text and Phone Authorization
Click the checkbox to agree to the Terms of Service and authorize calls and/or text messages to the mobile phone number entered in the Contact Information section above.
Account Information
Use this section to change your username.
European Union Data Protection
Indicate if you are currently located in a European Union country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland.
Privacy & Security
Use this section to change your password.
If desired, you can set up two-factor authentication (2FA) using any standard 2FA app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, etc.). To do so:
- Click Set Up.
- Scan the provided QR code with your phone using a 2FA app, or copy the code and paste it into the 2FA app.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app to complete the setup.
- Click Enable.

Select when you plan to begin a program.
Current Academic Status
Select your current academic level.
Fee Assistance Program
In this section, indicate if you want to apply for a fee waiver based on financial income or service organization permission. For more information, review VMCAS Application Fees and Fee Waivers.
Payment History
In this section, you can review your payment history. Click View Order Details to see a copy of your receipt(s). Note that it may take up to 24 hours for recent payments to post to your account and be visible on this page.
