WebAdMIT Migration to the Cloud
Liaison is migrating WebAdMIT to the cloud. This exciting move provides an enhanced user experience that allows for greater scalability, faster response times, and improved security.
The migration will occur between Friday, April 21 at 8 PM ET and Sunday, April 23 at 8 PM ET. You won't be able to access WebAdMIT during this time.
Once the migration is complete, you can continue to access WebAdMIT as you always have.
If you are exporting applications from WebAdMIT or sending data back into it using the WebAdMIT API, you may need to update your firewall rules as our IP addresses will change. Notify your IT team of this change so they can assess whether it will impact them.
Our new IP Address ranges for incoming and outgoing network traffic will be:
- 3.224.174.183
- 52.0.120.196
- 52.2.196.251
- 52.71.217.11
- 54.161.89.200
- 54.205.199.53
Additionally, your institution's software must have a minimum of version TLS 1.2 to establish a secure connection.
Please contact a member of your CAS account team if you have any questions about this migration.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Will there be downtime for WebAdMIT?
Yes. The downtime is scheduled between Friday, April 21 at 8 PM ET and Sunday, April 23 at 8 PM ET. In addition to WebAdMIT, the following portals will be affected:
- CAS Configuration Portal
- Universal Advisor Portal
If you use SFTP schedules for PDF or file transfers and you have jobs scheduled to run during the maintenance period, you won't receive them. Once the maintenance period ends, any scheduled jobs will automatically run and be delivered. You can pause or disable schedules if you prefer.
If you use the WebAdMIT API for batch PDF or data exports, or you use EMP exports (implemented through the WebAdMIT API), and you have jobs scheduled to run during the maintenance period, you won't receive them. However, you will receive files for your next scheduled job after WebAdMIT is back up and running.
Will my certificates change?
No. Existing certificates will continue to work in the new production environment.
Can I connect to the WebAdMIT API?
You'll first want to test the AWS IP addresses. The API will be accessible in the same way as the current production environment.
