Sprint 12 – June 24, 2018

About These Release Notes

This document provides a summary of the new features and enhancements available in the Sprint 12 release. If you have any questions about these features, please contact your Account Manager.

New Features and Enhancements

WebAdMIT Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 12.

1. New Workflow for Batch Local Status Changes

This enhancement applies to all CASs immediately.

This enhancement adjusts the workflow when changing Local Statuses in batch, making it a two-step process. Prior to selecting the desired Local Status, you are now asked to select the designation(s) you'd like this change to impact. This selection then limits the new Local Status options, based on what Local Statuses are compatible with the desired designations. Clicking Submit locks in the change.

Previously, you selected the designation(s) at the same time as selecting the new Local Status, which could lead to some applicants' statuses not being changed due to their designation not being eligible for the new Local Status.

2. WebAdMIT Users of the Early Decision Feature Can Release Applicants to Regular Pool Overnight

This enhancement applies to all CASs using the Early Decision Feature, including PTCAS and PharmCAS.

Previously, during the first phase of Early Decision for PTCAS and PharmCAS, applicants who were removed from Early Decision and placed back into the regular pool were not released until after the Verdict Date. With this enhancement, these applicants are now released on a nightly basis. This applies to any applicants removed from the Early Decision Decision Code, and assigned to a Decision Code that previously would have released them on the Verdict Date.

Applicant Gateway Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for the Applicant Gateway as part of Sprint 12.

1. Maximum Document Upload File Size Increased to 15 MB

This enhancement applies to all CASs using the Applicant Gateway.

The maximum document upload file size has increased from 5 MB to 15 MB in the Applicant Gateway. This matches the increase that recently took place on the Applicant Portal.

Updates to College Coursework Credit Value Entries

Summer

For CASs that collect college coursework, the Applicant Portal will be updated to allow applicants to enter course credit values in one numeric field. This field will also limit applicants from entering more than two digits after a decimal.

Currently, applicants are required to enter course credit values in two fields: a numeric field for the whole course credit and a drop-down including preset fractional values.
