New Features and Enhancements

Applicant Portal Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for the Applicant Portal as part of Sprint 17.

1. SlideRoom Integration

Note that this enhancement is a configurable, optional feature available to all CASs for the next cycle launch. Please see your Account Manager for more information.

If a program has chosen to integrate SlideRoom into their Program Materials page, applicants can complete the SlideRoom section through a redirect from the Program Materials page.

Configuration Portal Enhancements

The following enhancements are available for the Configuration Portal as part of Sprint 17.

1. SlideRoom Integration

Note that this enhancement is a configurable, optional feature available to all CASs for the next cycle launch. Please see your Account Manager for more information.

You can now set up an integration between the SlideRoom and CAS applications through the Configuration Portal.

2. SlideRoom Integration for Institutions

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs using SlideRoom.

You can now link multiple SlideRoom applications to one program. This is useful for programs that have concentrations and want to provide SlideRoom applications for each concentration (e.g., a School of Music program with a saxophone concentration).

3. Reorder Multiple Choice Answer Values

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs using Questions.

You can now reorder the answer values for Multiple Choice question types by dragging and dropping or sorting alphabetically in ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A) order.

WebAdMIT Enhancements

The following enhancement is available for WebAdMIT as part of Sprint 17.

1. College Fields Added to Prerequisite Courses Report

Note that this enhancement is available immediately for all CASs collecting Prerequisites in the Configuration Portal or Prerequisite GPAs feature in WebAdMIT.

The Prerequisite Courses report now includes the College Name, CEEB Code, Year, Term, and Term Type fields.

Expert-Level Reviewing: A Deep Dive into WebAdMIT’s Scoring Features	September 6, 2018	Have you already created basic review rubrics in WebAdMIT, but now need to develop a complex one? Are you a seasoned reviewer in WebAdMIT and want to explore what else WebAdMIT can do for you? In this session, we’ll explore some of WebAdMIT’s more powerful scoring features that can help you process your applicant files more efficiently. We’ll demonstrate with real-life scenarios to apply the concepts more easily. Since this session is for advanced users, participants should be able to build Assignment and Interview templates before attending. Sandbox Environment Refresh	September 17, 2018	The WebAdMIT Sandbox environment (sandbox.webadmit.org) will be refreshed with current (cleansed) production data and program configurations. Any test exports, custom fields, etc., in the current sandbox will be overwritten.
Reviewing & Scoring Applicants Regional Training in Los Angeles, CA	October 16, 2018	Register now for our Reviewing & Scoring Applicants live training in Los Angeles, CA. Participants will learn how to make best use of the Assignments and Interviews features in WebAdMIT through a series of hands-on exercises led by a WebAdMIT expert. They will learn how to rank applicants and pinpoint the most qualified candidates, while networking with peers to learn how others are using WebAdMIT to achieve their admissions goals. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible to earn 0.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
