Additionally, note that the implementation of any enhancements may be impacted by a CAS's launch cycle(s) and may require coordination with the CAS’s respective Account Manager.

Early Application Access

Deployed in Sprint 7

This enhancement is available to all CASs operating on the 3.X platform beginning with your next cycle.

This configurable option allows applicants to complete their applications before the CAS begins accepting applications. This provides applicants with additional lead time so they don't have to rush to complete and submit. Once the CAS begins accepting applications, applicants can submit their completed applications.

HRSA Configurability

This enhancement is available as an option to all CASs operating on the 3.X platform beginning with your next cycle.

This enhancement gives each CAS the ability to remove certain HRSA options for applicants to select.

Flexibility on Sex/Gender Block

Deployed in Sprint 7

This enhancement is available as an option to all CASs operating on the 3.X platform beginning with your next cycle.

To present the Gender/Sex question in a more inclusive manner, the label for it is now configurable by CAS.

Early Decision Enhancements

Deployed in Spring

 

 

Applicable only to PharmCAS and PTCAS, but this enhancement is available to all CASs operating on the 3.X platform beginning with your next cycle.

With new designs and workflow, this feature improves the applicant experience when applying for Early Decision.

The Red Badge Near "Submit Application" Appears Only When Application is Ready to Submit

Deployed in Sprint 10

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately.

Previously, a red badge appeared in the "Submit Application" tab even before an application is ready to be submitted. With this enhancement, applicants only see this badge when they have complete designation(s) ready to submit.

SlideRoom Integration

Deployed in Sprint 17

 

This enhancement is available to all CASs operating on the 3.X platform beginning with your next cycle.

CAS 3.X is integrated with SlideRoom via the Program Materials section of the application. Schools who utilize SlideRoom to collect supplemental application materials are able to link their programs from CAS to SlideRoom.

Improved Program Search Page

Deployed in Sprint 18

This enhancement is a configurable option for CASs that are:

  • Currently operating on the 3.X platform
  • Not Using Program Rules

To improve the program search and selection experience, the Add Program page allows applicants to filter programs using real-time search keywords with selectable filters, and also have a new interface that is easier to navigate.

Invitation Codes Compatibility in New Add Program Page and Search Feature

This enhancement is available to CASs using the new Add Program Page and Search Feature.

This enhancement allows programs who are participating in a CAS using the new Add Program Page and Search Feature the ability to distribute invitation codes to applicants for individual deadline extensions.

Visa Information Editable After Application Submission

Deployed in Sprints 25 & 26

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

Previously, applicants couldn't edit their visa information after they submitted their application. This enhancement allows applicants to change this section after submission.

Updates to Instructions and FAQs

Deployed in Sprints 25 & 26

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

Over the past few application cycles, Liaison's Training & Knowledge team has been actively working to improve the former CAS Instructions and FAQs content. In order to reflect these updates, we are renaming the Instructions and FAQs links in all CAS applications to Help Center, which better reflects the myriad of resources we provide applicants, including help content, FAQs, videos, and linked resources from other applicable sites.

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately.

The Configuration Portal has an updated design, including an easier navigation and increased adherence to 508 Compliance standards.

Reorder Questions and Question Blocks

Deployed in Sprint 5

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately.

Users are able to reorder questions entered in the Program Editor section by dragging and dropping. Questions can be reordered within and across question blocks, and question blocks can be reordered as well.

Conditional Questions & Dynamic Answer Lists

This enhancement is available to all CASs beginning with your next cycle.

After a user has configured Custom Questions in the Configuration Portal, a new interface allows that user to add conditional questions and/or paired logic to those Custom Questions.

Upload Answer Values for Multiple Choice Questions through the Configuration Portal

Deployed in Sprint 10

This enhancement is available to all CASs beginning with your next cycle.

To reduce the amount of manual work required when creating custom questions, this enhancement gives Configuration Portal users the ability to upload Answer Values and Export Codes for multiple choice questions.

Multiple Choice Value Reordering

Deployed in Sprint 17

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

Users have the ability to reorder the choice (answer) values for Multiple Choice question types by either a drag-and-drop method or an automatic A-Z sort.

Choice Value Expiration Date

Deployed in Sprint 21

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

Users are able to input an expiration date for the choice (answer) values for Multiple Choice question types. Any choices that have an expiration date are automatically be hidden upon that date. Applicants who selected that choice still have their option saved, but applicants who haven't yet selected their choice are not be able to select the expired one(s).

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Question

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately.

The GDPR question explains the information we collect from evaluators and how we use their information. This question is included in all new and existing evaluator accounts.

Evaluators Able to Copy Evaluations for Multiple Evaluation Requests

Deployed in Sprints 25 & 26

This enhancement is for CASs that use program-level evaluations with configurable evaluation types.

When evaluators complete program-level evaluations for an applicant, they can choose if their evaluation is reused for the same applicant for other program-level evaluation requests.

WebAdMIT & Configuration Portal

Codes Created in the Questions Section of the Configuration Portal Are Now Available in WebAdMIT

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately, but is dependent on codes being established in the Configuration Portal.

Configuration Portal users have the ability to establish codes to pair with the answers to multiple choice Program Questions.  This enhancement allows those codes to appear in WebAdMIT.

Spell-Check Allowed When Creating Emails

Deployed in Sprint 6

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately.

When creating Email Templates or sending emails, the spell-check function from users' browsers is now enabled in WebAdMIT.

WebAdMIT Now Includes Official NBDE Scores

Deployed in Sprint 8

This enhancement applies to CASs on the 3.X platform that are currently using Official NBDE scores.

WebAdMIT now includes the Official NBDE scores received by Liaison.

New "Applicant's Designation Last Exported" Field

Deployed in Sprint 9

This enhancement is available to all CASs choosing to use it.

This enhancement adds a designation scoped date/time field that indicates when the last time the applicant was exported. The field is set when an applicant is exported, if the export is configured to do so. It displays on each applicant's Designation panel, and is available in the List Manager and Export Manager.  Users also have the ability to clear the field individually or in a batch action.

Users and Work Groups Are Now Included in Settings Transfer

Deployed in Sprint 11

This is enhancement is available to all CASs immediately.

This enhancement includes Admissions Users and Work Groups along with the Settings Transfer. Note that users who have already been created in the new cycle are not transferred from the previous cycle.

WebAdMIT Users Can Release Early Decision Applicants to Regular Pool Overnight

Deployed in Sprint 12

This enhancement is available to PTCAS and PharmCAS immediately upon release.

Previously, during the first phase of Early Decision for PTCAS and PharmCAS, applicants removed from Early Decision back into the regular pool were not released until after the Verdict Date. With this enhancement, applicable applicants are released on a nightly basis. This applies to any applicants removed from the Early Decision Decision Code, and assigned to a Decision Code that previously would have released them on the Verdict Date.

New Workflow for Batch Local Status Changes

Deployed in Sprint 12

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

This enhancement adjusts the workflow when changing Local Statuses in batch, making it a two-step process. Prior to selecting the desired Local Status, users are now asked to select which designation(s) they'd like this change to impact. This selection then limits the new Local Status options, based on what Local Statuses are compatible with the desired designations. Previously, users selected the designation(s) at the same time as selecting the new Local Status, which could lead to some applicants' statuses not being changed due to their designation not being eligible for the new Local Status.

Updated Workflow for Batch Local Status Changes

Deployed in Sprint 13

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

This enhancement updates the workflow when changing Local Statuses in batch, making it a three-step process. Prior to selecting the desired Local Status, users are asked to select the designation(s) they'd like this change to impact. This selection then limits the new Local Status options, based on what Local Statuses are compatible with the desired designations. Then users are asked to confirm the changes.

New Decision Code History Sub-panel

Deployed in Sprint 16

This enhancement is available to all CASs choosing to use it.

The History panel now includes a Decision Code sub-panel, which lists all the Decision Codes an applicant has been placed in.

SlideRoom Integration

Deployed in Sprint 18

This enhancement is available to all CASs choosing to use it.

A new SlideRoom panel is available in WebAdMIT, giving users the ability to access a direct link to SlideRoom and review an applicant's SlideRoom application. Additional details, including status and completion date, are listed in this new panel. This data is also available in the List Manager and Export Manager.

Admissions-Uploaded Document File Size Increase

Deployed in Sprint 23

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

Currently, admissions users can only upload documents with a maximum file size of 5MB. This enhancement increases the maximum file size to 15MB.

Email Attachments

Deployed in Sprints 25 & 26

This enhancement is available to all CASs immediately upon release.

This enhancement gives admissions users the ability to upload documents in WebAdMIT and attach them to emails and email templates.
